Then you will come to a T-intersection where you will notice a cluster of mail boxes at the T.
Turn right (south) on McIntyre Drive and follow this about 1/4 mile to a Y in the road.
Take a left at the Y and follow 3/4 mile to Brough Drive. Turn Left and follow 1/3 mile to the end of the road. Here is L & M Fly In Office on Wabigoon Lake.

3) "What time should we arrive?"
We ask that you arrive at our airbase at approximately 1 hour before your scheduled flight time. That will allow plenty of time for you to do the paperwork and settle up on your payment. We can have bait, beer or liqour or groceries at our airbase for your trip, but you will need to pre order all of these items with L&M and we will gladly have them on hand for you. We ask that you give L&M 1 month notice ahead of your trip for all pre order items.
4) "What do we use for bait?"
If fishing for walleyes, we HIGHLY recommend you use minnows. We recommend 2-3 dozen per person per day. If you are fishing for small mouth bass, we recommend leeches. Figure on a pound of leeches per person for a 5-day trip. There are approximately 10-12 dozen leeches per pound.

5) "What do we do with the license forms?"
Fishing licenses can be pre registered using our online form on our home page. Please fill these forms out at least 30 days prior to your trip.
6) "What are the weight restrictions?"
We have a 125 lb. weight limit per person. This includes everything that goes on the airplane with you, such as beer, sodas, food, bait, ice, gear, groceries. We have government certified scales at the dock where the pilot will weigh all of your gear before loading on the airplane. If your party has way over the weight restriction and you choose to have the extra weight flown in separately, the cost of the overload will be charged and flown in accordingly (depending on time and weather). Please weigh your gear at home to avoid delays, embarrasment, as we must comply with these restrictions for safety.

7) "Do we need a depth finder?"
Portable fish locators are helpful. It helps to find the structure of the lake for depth, ridges, weed beds, reefs, etc. Also, we have sent you a confirmation of your dates and lakes along with your total billing. If this is going to be split up between your party, please have it figured out as to how much each person owes before you arrive. All we will need to add on will be your license cost if not already included on your bill and if you are purchasing bait or any other things at the store. But if you have each person's share already agreed upon, that can also help save time the morning of your flight.
If you have further questions, don't hesitate to call or email us. We are here to help make sure that your trip goes as smooth as possible and that you have one of the best trips imaginable.
8) "What do we do with our garbage?"
1) DAILY: Take ALL table scraps, fish cleanings and left over foods .... across the lake and place on a rock, or on an island for the eagles and seagulls to eat. (DO NOT throw into the water) We will show you before you leave the office where is a good spot to do this. DO NOT throw any food items or grease around the cabin. At the end of your trip, take
all foods left over (Don’t leave it in the refrigerator for the next group) and place on the rocks with the
table scraps and fish cleanings.
HELP PREVENT BEAR AT THE CABIN SITE.
2) Burn: ALL burnable garbage, such as paper, all plastics, all cardboard, etc. If it can burn, burn it either in the wood burning stove or in the fire ring outside over the campfire.
***If there is a fire restriction at the lake, we will notify you as soon as we are notified. In that case, you will not be able to burn anything over an open fire.
Glass bottles, tin cans, and batteries, and any other garbage items that cannot be burned--we ask you double bag and bring this type of garbage out with you on the plane. DO NOT throw in the fire.
3) We ask you separate your aluminum cans from the tin and glass. Crush each can and bring in a doubled- garbage bag. We do recycle, but only the aluminum cans!!!!
ALL GARBAGE will be flown out at the end of your trip with you.
DOUBLE OR TRIPLE-BAGGING the garbage will prevent any unpleasant smells and leaks into the airplane you are riding in or on your bags.
